Evenings

The bakery, after dark

At four the pastry case fills with cheese, the lamps come down low and the counter is set with glasses. The menu is short and made for sharing, and it leans on the oven that worked all morning.

The list runs to about forty bottles, mostly from small producers in Italy, with a dozen open by the glass each night. Tell us what you usually like and we’ll pour you a taste first.

The wine list

A dozen wines open by the glass every night, and about forty bottles on the shelf behind the counter.

Every pour comes as a taste or a full glass, so trying three is easy.
